At GP practice De Marslanden, we work with a fresh approach that may be different from what you are used to. Here, you have direct contact with your doctor, without the intervention of an assistant. Moreover, you never have to wait, because we work by appointments where you decide when the doctor contacts you.<\/p>\n

We review each situation together and adjust our approach accordingly. If possible, we offer immediate help via phone call. Do you prefer to send a message with a photo? You can do so via our personal portal, where you can contact us 24\/7, repeat prescription medication and access results and your medical record.<\/p>\n

Is there a need for a more extensive consultation or physical examination? If so, you are welcome to visit us at our GP practice at De Schans 9A1 by appointment, or we will look into the possibilities for a home visit. Working method Flexdokters<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our practice is affiliated to Flexdokters. A cooperative of GP practices. This offers a number of advantages for patient and GP, with the relationship between GP and patient always being paramount.<\/p>\n

In a Flexdokters practice, patients have direct contact with the GP. Great, because this way you only have to tell your story once. Often, your question can be answered immediately. Is that not possible? Then you make a follow-up appointment with the GP at the practice. Convenient, because this way you don’t have to come to the practice for every question.<\/p>\n

Whereas now you still call the assistant for an appointment, in future we will ask you to schedule your appointments yourself. Because we will then work by appointment only, there are hardly any waiting times and you will usually find a quiet waiting room. This ensures much peace and quiet in the practice and during your consultation with the GP. Pleasant for you and for the GP.<\/p>\n

Method of regular check-ups<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

We work with Viduet<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Some patients need regular check-ups. This applies, for example, to people with diabetes or asthma, or those taking medications that require annual blood tests. We ensure that these check-ups take place on time and are well prepared. The practice does this in collaboration with the company Viduet.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If this applies to you, Viduet will send you e-mail messages on behalf of the practice. This message may be, for example, an invitation to complete a medical questionnaire or a request for you to schedule an appointment with us. If the appointment also requires additional testing, such as blood tests, you will receive this invitation via the usual route. Patients who don\u2019t have an email address will continue to receive a personal invitation.<\/span>

By providing the answers here, we save you the trouble of contacting us and we GPs have fewer interruptions in our work with patients. Can I have my urine checked?<\/h5>

On weekdays between 08.00 and 10.00, you can hand in your urine without an appointment. At the entrance to the practice, you will find the special box where you can leave the urine jar with a completed form. <\/p><\/div><\/div>

How to get blood tests done?<\/h5>

On Tuesday mornings at the practice between 8:15 and 9:30 AM. For blood collection, you make an appointment online. Free walk-in is not possible. Home visits are only available on request. Why am I getting an email from Viduet? <\/h5>

For patients who need regular check-ups, we have entered into a partnership with the company Viduet. Together with them, we ensure that your appointment takes place on time and is well prepared. They will send you e-mail messages on behalf of our practice. Such a message may be, for example, an invitation to schedule an appointment with us. We appreciate it if you respond to such a request. <\/p><\/div><\/div>

Can I still see my GP without a portal?<\/h5>

The portal is not mandatory, but it can certainly be useful for viewing your file, receiving feedback on results, and making appointments. However, the GP also works in the traditional, familiar way with a consultation hour. You can schedule this by calling: 0523-721028 and selecting option 2. You will receive a call back.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Parcel mailbox<\/h5>

Urine samples or cultures and other items can be dropped off in the Parcel Mailbox. Personal documents can be collected here as well. You will receive a special access code from the assistant.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Menopause symptoms<\/h5>

Our practice nurse Sandra has a lot of experience in acute care as an emergency department nurse, and she also specializes in menopause-related issues. She is available for appointments on Tuesday mornings and Fridays.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

How do I request my repeat medication?<\/h5>

We kindly ask you to do this via our portal. This prevents errors and saves us a lot of time that we can use to provide better care.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
